Perfect continous tense

                  Perfect contonous tense. 

It is used to describe actions that started in the past and continue to the present or specific point in the future,


A. In affurmative statement
    Subject + have / has + verb -ing  + adverb

I have been studying english for 2 years
Saya telah belajar inggris selama 2 tahun

They have been living here since 1999
Mereka sudah tinggal di sini sejak 1999

He has been waiting for bus for 1 hour
Dia sudah menunggu bis selama 1 jam

You have been living together for 5 years
Kamu sudah hidup bersama selama 5 tahun

She has been sleeping for 5 hours. 
Dia sudah tidur selama 5 jam

Ella has been teaching Math for years.
Ella telah mengajar matematika selama bertahun-tahun


B. In negative statement. 

We have not  been waiting for you since 2 hours
Aku sudah menunggumu sejak 2 jam 

 
Rina has not  been studying for her exam since morning.
Rina sudah tidak belajar untuk ujiannya sejak pagi

Rizky has not been playing game since morning 
Rizky sudah tidak  bermain game sejak pagi

We have not been searching for him everywhere.
Kita telah tidak  mencarinya kemana-mana

Tina has not  been cooking for the family.
Tina telah tidak memasak untuk keluarga



C  in interrogative sttaement. 

Have you learning English since 2000 ? 
Sudah kamu belajar Bahasa sejak tahun 2000? 

Have you been watching all day?
Apa yang telah kamu tonton sepanjang hari?

Have you been eating many fruits this month.
Apa kamu telah makan banyak buah bulan ini)

 Has she been sleeping for 10 hours.
 Apa Dia sudah tidur selama 10 jam? 

Has he been working here since he graduated.
Apa Dia telah bekerja di sini sejak dia lulus. 

Have we been practicing for the contest all day.
Apa kita telah berlatih untuk lomba seharian
