Recount text is a text that tells about past experiences or events in chronological order.

        My First Teaching Experience
Last year, I had my first experience teaching English to vocational high school students. It was both exciting and challenging.
On the first day, I felt nervous because the students looked very serious. However, I tried to smile and introduce myself confidently. I started the lesson with a simple game to break the ice.
After that, I explained the material about recount text. Some students were very active, but others were shy. I encouraged them to share their past experiences.
At the end of the class, the students gave positive feedback. I felt grateful and proud. That experience taught me to be more patient and confident as a teacher.

Last month, I experienced a traffic accident on my way to school. That morning, the weather was rainy and the road was slippery. I was riding my motorcycle carefully.
Suddenly, a car stopped in front of me without warning. I could not stop in time and crashed into the car. I fell off my motorcycle and hurt my leg.
Some people helped me and took me to the hospital. Fortunately, my injury was not serious. After resting for a few days, I could go back to school. That accident taught me to be more careful on the road.


Bulan lalu, saya mengalami kecelakaan lalu lintas saat pergi ke sekolah. Pagi itu cuaca hujan dan jalan licin. Saya mengendarai sepeda motor dengan hati-hati.
